Charm and Character

Wolf Creek Falls Preserve is one of those hidden little gems you’re always hoping to find. It isn’t the longest or the most challenging trail out there, but what it lacks in length, it more than makes up for in charm and character.

The trail winds through a peaceful forest, with the gentle sound of cascading water accompanying you nearly the whole way. Several small waterfalls and cascades line the creek, creating plenty of spots to pause and take in the scenery. One of my favorite touches is the beautiful stone wall that runs alongside part of the path — it adds a surprising and almost storybook-like feel to the walk.

My lady and I brought the dogs and spent a lovely afternoon exploring at a leisurely pace. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and just enjoy being outside together.
