Walt Disney World has always been a place of wonder and change, constantly evolving to offer new experiences. While I understand the need to keep the Parks fresh and exciting, I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness at the closure of Muppet Vision 3D. For me, it wasn’t just an attraction; it was a nostalgic anchor. As a kid, I wasn’t one for the more intense rides. The towering coasters felt a little too overwhelming. Instead, I gravitated […]
Last Friday, November 15th, my lady and I spent the evening exploring downtown Schenectady for their Art event. The city held festive charm, the streets lit by recently placed Christmas lights that perfectly complemented the creativity on display. From galleries showcasing local talent to vibrant murals tucked away on quiet streets, the event was a celebration of art and coffee. I brought my camera along to capture some of the magic, and these photos are a glimpse into what we […]
On November 14th, I had the pleasure of attending Schalmont’s school production of “The Play is the Thing,” featuring my two nephews, Caleb and Zack. The play consisted of three smaller acts, the first two of which escape my memory in terms of their titles. Caleb had a couple of funny moments in the second act that got the audience chuckling, but the true highlight of the night was Zack’s performance in the third act, entitled “MMMM Beth.“ “MMMM Beth” […]
The morning sun streamed through the endless stretch of New York’s skyscrapers, casting long shadows over the bustling streets below. The hum of life filled the city, relentless and indifferent. Up on the 35th floor of a corporate glass tower, the usual monotony of clacking keyboards, ringing phones, and the occasional forced laughter set the scene for another ordinary day. Bob, the ever-unpleasant office stickler, sat at his desk with a permanent scowl. A man who delighted in sending nitpicky […]
Fright Fest Through My Lens: A Spooky Solo Adventure November 1, 2024 Photo Story Last week was Fright Fest at The Great Escape in Lake George. I took full advantage of the opportunity to explore the park with my camera while my eldest son and his girlfriend enjoyed the attractions. Fright Fest is always a blast, but this time I had a particularly cool encounter with an actor dressed as Death—perfect for a memorable selfie. You can also see my […]
Halloween Photos, 2024 October 31, 2024 Captured on a night when the veil was thin… My lady embraced her inner witch this Halloween, and I found some glowing neon lanterns that felt like they belonged in another realm.
A Trip to Vermont – Lake Champlain October 25, 2024 On The Way Lady and I took a memorable drive to Vermont, spending some much-needed quality time together around the serene beauty of Lake Champlain, the vibrant energy of the Chapel Street Market, and the restorative Texas Falls. During our drive, we pulled over to capture a beautiful photo of a windmill set against the backdrop of stunning mountain scenery. Later, we stumbled upon something truly unexpected—a giant concrete sculpture […]
In the heart of the Willowroot Forest, where the mushrooms glowed under the moonlight and the streams sang songs of old, there lived a gnome named Bramble. Unlike the other gnomes who were content to tend to their gardens, craft shoes, or bake pies, Bramble was different. He had always felt there was something more for him out there, something beyond the ordinary life of a gnome. And one fateful day, his life changed forever. While exploring a seldom-trodden path […]
Some images shot of Meg during her Junior Powder-Puff game.
Jack stood under the steaming shower, letting the hot water cascade down his back. He tilted his head back, squinting against the droplets, and reached for his bottle of shampoo. It was the same brand he’d used for years—cheap, mint-scented, and boasting the usual promises of revitalized hair and unmatched shine. He squeezed a dollop into his palm, lathered it into his hair, and watched as the foam turned white and thick. As he rubbed, he squinted at the small, […]
