During a recent vacation to Salam, my lady and I stumbled upon The Witchside Tavern, and it turned out to be a delightful find! This charming little spot perfectly complements the whimsical vibe of the surrounding attractions, and the food is delicious. I ordered the jalapeno burger, which had a balance of heat and savory flavors. My lady chose the chicken pesto panini, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be […]
On our way to the Old North Church, my lady and I stumbled upon Table Mercato, and, being unable to resist anything Italian, she couldn’t help but step in for some grocery shopping. While she browsed for hot sauce and olive oil, I decided to sample one of their specialty sandwiches. I ordered The Roman, and it was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients truly set it apart. Although the prices are on the higher side, making it a bit […]
Last week, Chase and I shared a night full of laughs at the Impractical Jokers live show. Watching Sal, Q, and Murr bring their off-the-wall humor to the stage was an experience unlike any other. Their jokes landed perfectly, and hearing them share behind-the-scenes stories about the TV show gave us a deeper appreciation for how much fun (and chaos!) goes into creating each episode. What made the evening even more special was that Chase, who typically prefers staying home […]
Nate was cool enough to let me get some portrait experience to compliment his senior pictures. He’s a handsome kid.
Had a really fun time walking around Saratoga Comic Con last week. You really have to appreciate those who put so much work into their cosplay. I didn’t take as many photos as I would have liked to, but I’m pleased with the shots I did get.
Morgan recently concluded her tenure in Mohonasen’s Junior Varsity basketball. We commemorated this milestone with a photoshoot to mark her final appearance in the team uniform, resulting in some pretty outstanding images.
Last weekend I was with Black Brush Crafts making an awesome showing at Proctor Theater’s craft fair. Always being camera ready, I couldn’t resist asking a security guard if I could be granted access to the main theater for a photoshoot. Surprisingly she said yes (!!) and let me loose in the empty theater for about 10 minutes. These shots are the result of that opportunity.
When you’re snooping around backstage at Proctor’s theater and you happen across an old fancy couch stage prop, what should you do? Well, if you’re with your adventurous step daughter, who’s down for whatever, you snap a couple photos. These came out so great for being so spur of the moment.
It’s the first snowfall of the 2024 winter season and I have been (not so) patiently waiting for its arrival. Unfortunately, a busy schedule kept me from completely loosing myself into the experience, but I was able to sneak away to the Albany Pine Bush for a few photos.
Some photos and videos taken from my 2023 summer hike around Hannacroix Creek Preserve.
